Client D completed her Bachelor of Arts at Curtin University and has a nominated occupation as an interior designer. Client D initially wanted to apply for a subclass 189 Skilled Independent visa but interior designer was not listed on the SOL. We explored her option into subclass 190 and interior designer was listed on CSOL.
In order to apply for a subclass 190, the applicant must have a State or Territory nomination. Unfortunately interior designer was not on the WASMOL and therefore, subclass 190 was not an option for Client D.
When Client D was still completing her studies at university, she worked for an interior designing company as an undergraduate designer. Soon after Client D had completed her study, the sponsoring company had a job opening for an interior designer and the sponsor wanted to sponsor Client D for a RSMS because they were happy with her previous performance.
We then lodged the RCB application, nomination and visa application. The application was finalized in approximately 8 months.
